Integration of ABDM with Mansik Shakti Digital Mental Health System
The Mansik Shakti digital mental health platform is now in the process of being fully integrated with the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) framework, with completion targeted for 15th October.
This integration means:
- Seamless Health ID Linkage: Every student or user assessed through our system will be able to connect their ABDM Health ID with their mental health records, ensuring continuity of care and secure storage of sensitive information.
- Interoperability with National Health Ecosystem: The screening results, EMR entries, and treatment recommendations generated through our app will be compatible with the broader healthcare ecosystem, including hospitals, psychiatrists, and primary health centers.
- Consent-based Data Sharing: Users can allow their records to be shared with professionals or institutions of their choice, supporting referrals and follow-ups while keeping their privacy protected.
- Improved Access to Services: Integration will allow students in even remote or underserved areas to access digital consultations, prescriptions, and follow-up care within the ABDM ecosystem.
- Policy and Research Advantage: By contributing anonymized data into the ABDM ecosystem, our project strengthens national-level research, monitoring, and public health planning for youth mental health.
In simple terms, after 15th October, your Mansik Shakti system won’t just be a standalone app — it will be part of India’s national digital health backbone, making mental health services more standardized, accessible, and future-ready.
